Subvertendo a ordem dada pela fotografia clássica, na qual o assunto da imagem deveria permanecer imobilizado para uma fruição de algo “morto”, proponho alterar a representação fotográfica de um espaço para que este venha a refletir o presente na própria estrutura física da imagem apresentada. Aí, os espaços de sombra presentes na composição serão ocupados por uma camada de ouro branco, provocando, assim, uma dinâmica da sua visibilidade.
A imagem bruta utilizada como referência para elaboração deste trabalho concentra em sua estrutura uma profusão de ambientes multiplicados, fornecidos pelo espelhamento. O local escolhido foi um banheiro público. Ao entrar no espaço identifiquei uma instabilidade do olhar provocado pelos multidirecionamentos dados pelos rebatimentos das imagens espelhadas.
Um dos fatores que me chamou a atenção foi a composição cromática presente nos elementos da cena, estabelecidos praticamente de tons prata e branco, seja pelos metais e espelhos na cor prata, seja pelo revestimento cerâmico branco, bem como as bancadas e pisos em mármore branco.
A este trabalho denominei “Espaço Privado”, contrapondo a situação de intimidade exposta num espaço público e sua posterior reconfiguração, quando a imagem é apresentada em prata sobre branco, na qual se pode ver em fragmentos o reflexo do local onde o trabalho está exposto, refletido nas retículas impressas sobre azulejo branco.
Subverting the order given by the classic photography in which the subject of the image should remain immobilized for the enjoyment of something "dead", I propose to change the photographic representation of a space so that it will reflect the present in the physical structure itself of the displayed image. Then shadow of the spaces in the composition will be occupied by a white gold layer, causing thereby a dynamics of its visibility.
The raw image used as a reference for the preparation of this work focuses on the structure of a richness of multiplied environments, provided by mirroring. The chosen venue was a public toilet. Upon entering the space I have noticed an instability caused by the multidirecioning created by the repercussions of mirrored images.
One of the factors that caught my attention was this color composition of the elements of the scene, established almost tone silver and white, either by metals and mirrors in silver, whether is the white ceramic coating and the white marble countertops and floors.
In this work named "Private Space", opposing the intimacy situation exposed in a public space and its subsequent reconfiguration. When the image is displayed on silver on white surface , one can be see in fragents the reflection of where the work is exposed, reflecting on the print on white tile.
